Deck Demolition; Remove the screws – or take out the nuts – that keep the handrail in place, working through one end of your deck to another. Start removing the balusters once the handrail has been removed. By slowly working the balusters back and forth, you may remove the screws or detach them.

Once you’ve removed the top rail and the railings, you can do the same with the bottom rail. This is how to start to demolish a deck. However, it’s best to hire a professional for this job.
